i’m not one to make assumptions about the criminal justice system, because, let’s be real, i only know of the it from my obsession with court tv as 15 yr. old and law and order SVU, but this verdict has made me question my faith in the system. apologies to my fellow A train riders, when I gasped in astonishment from the verdict.

While I have not had to go to planned parenthood for birth control, HPV testing, regular checkups, UTI screenings and god forbid an abortion—I have know countless peers who have, for all the issues above and more.  It is a disgrace to our society and most importantly women, that we would limit funds to an organization that provides necessary health screenings, medication and countless hours...

A little Closer!
American independent film is represented in the world premieres by three fiction films. Matthew Petock’s “A Little Closer” tracks the quest of a mother and her two sons for love and sex; “Bad Posture,” from director Malcolm Murray, explores the underbelly of Albuquerque; while R.
